1. Inside Quiz go to the Question Bank
2. On the top right corner click Add item
3. Now to make it a open answer, first click Item type
4. And then click Open answer. The examinee will have to answer the question freely in the form of elaborate text
5. Stem is an optional field, which allows you to contextualize the question
6. Fill the Lead-in question
7. Then fill the Correct answer. Allows you to define which response template should be made to assign the maximum quotation.
8. Choose the Quantitative option when the question is rated with a decimal number
9. Choose the Qualitative option when the question can only be correct or incorrect and the rating is presented with a text / description
10. Add a Curricular unit
11. Then click Forward
